Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah & Australian Prime Minister Turnbull met in Kabul
Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah welcomed Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull in Kabul on 25 April 2018.
Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah thanked the Australian Government for their extensive cooperation for their military and defense equipment support to Afghan National Army (ANA). Australia and Afghanistan recently expanding their cooperation in the areas of Agriculture, Water Management, Education and Mining. These have been discussed and agreed through signing MoUs between both sides in a recent trip of President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani to Canberra.
Prime Minister Turnbull visited Kabul on 25 April, which is an Australian national day for commomorating of falledn soldiers. 42 Australian soldiers have lost their lives in Afghanistan between years 2001 to 2014.
