Sir Peter Cosgrove met Afghan Cricket Players in Kabul
KABUL – Sir Peter Cosgrove, the Hon Governor-General of Australia visited Kabul and welcomed by His Excellency Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
At the side of this meeting, both heads of states visited the Afghanistan’s National Cricket players and had a joint luncheon together.
Sir Cosgrove praised the Afghan Cricket team members and their achievements in recent months. Their successful gains and wins is well-known to the world now.
The Governor-General met every one of the attended players and expressed Australia’s full support in the area of cricket.
Sir Cosgrove is the fan of cricket and Afghan cricket team is one of his favorite teams.
